Lila goes to the beach!

Took the puppies along on a business trip to New Jersey and gave them their first ocean experience. Alas I did not carry my camera when I took all 3 puppies to the beach, but after rounding them back up I got my camera and Lila and we just walked the sand flats around the Wildwood boardwalk and amusement park. I love places like these out of season when there is NOBODY around and nothing open (though a little seafood shack would have been a welcome exception).

A first win picture for Thumper!

Thumper was BOBP and won a group placement in his first competition, a small match put on by Northeast Maryland Kennel Club in January. He was a good little boy.

Happy Birthday babies!

For any really responsible dog owner or breeder, there is nothing more important than finding good loving and permanent homes for our puppies, as new members of great families. Today is the 2nd birthday of my first litter (Ribbon x Bayshore's Paparazzi) and I am forever grateful to those wonderful people who give 6 puppies the greatest homes I could ever wish for. Thanks Stephanie (Gabby), Mary (Teddy), Jill (Gracie), Debbie (Mandi), Bev (Painter) and Christine (my firstborn Uno). Happy birthday, kids!!!

From the current litter, I just got this photo sent to me by Syd's mom which prompted my mention of great homes.   This is a beautiful picture on every level.

27" plus 27" is......

Oops, poor ear set on that one.
An awful lot of snow in my yard, on my roof, my deck, my dog paths, etc.  Sun is out now and I am doing some clearing but it is all a bit overwhelming. I need to get new photos but these will suffice for now, when there was a mere 27" on the ground rather than 50+.

Banner arrives at The Beach!

Banner was welcomed to his new state of residence by litter mate Tache, who wanted to show him all about the ocean. H arrived in the Tidewater area of Virginia just ahead of the snowstorm (mostly rain there) and got his play date with Tache this morning. He will only be living a few miles from Tache and hopefully they will get to play together frequently.

14 weeks old

I knew there had to be a reason I liked this puppy. He loves hydrangeas. Thumper pruning. Annabelles can be pruned any time and still flower the same year, fortunately.

Ted in snow; he staycationed here last weekend.

The bunch of them (minus Ziva). They are getting bigger....!

Ted is very patient with Banner (who leaves for home tomorrow, just ahead of our impendin huge snowstorm!

Another one of Banner. Bon voyage!
