Busy day for puppies

It was a busy day for the puppies today. Their first auto trip (and  long one, 2 hour round trip) and a lot of playtime with 2 sets of visitors.
First off to Bethesda an hour away, for the opthalmology checks we do on Aussie puppies prior to new homes. All puppies passed exams and the trip home was much quieter than the trip down!

Then home to visitors, future family members.

And yet they are still full of energy and ready to romp again. Tomorrow then can, before the rain/snow/whatever.

6 weeks old, a snow day

Brought everyone out for a romp and a friend brought her camera out too. I moved the puppy pen closer to the door to the yard the other day and now everyone gets to run outside 3 or 4 times a day. it sure makes for a cleaner pen and might give just a bit of a head start on house training since they get to be cleaner in their pen. they notice the cold but it does not seem to interfere with the fun and it is only for a few minutes at a time (and never unattended due to hawks, fence imperfection, and other factors).

5.5 weeks

They are growing like weeds, eating solid food and have had one outdoor excursion thus dar. More scheduled in the coming days!
