Best of Breed in Michigan

First time out Thumper Best of breed over other specials and a big bitch Major.  and made the herding group judge's cut of 6 dogs in a very full group, according to Maria Neff. Good Toompers! Onward!

Last visit for a while

Thumper leaves tomorrow for the show circuit for  while; mixed feelings on that but I am the one solely responsible for the decision so...with the help of my friend Peggy we did a photo session. No money available for any ad campaign but nice to have good shots of him anyway!  These are my favorite ones.
Nice relaxed shot, Thumper at 2.5 years

Sit!

Wonders what that weird noise was.
Maybe my favorite

3 Shows, 3 wins

Thumper became a Canadian Champion in a weekend last weekend; Went BOB/Group 3 over specials on Friday, BOB and Group 1 over Specials on Saturday, and WD/BOW for his final point on Sunday. Most proud of my multi-titled Toompers.  Thank you so much to my good friend Ayella Grossman for taking him North and handling him so expertly!

AND he is a proud sire of a second litter, 9 healthy fatties out of Henna (Ch. Sonrise Little Red Hen) in Canada yesterday, pictures hopefully to follow.

Thumper's Canadian adventure

Thumper has an international career  now, having gone home with Ayella Grossman to work on his Canadian Championship. In his  first show yesterday Ayella showed him to his first points with a BOB over a Special and went on to a Group 3. This afternoon, his second day, he went BOB and on to a Group 1 , bringing him to 9 points toward his Championship. He just needs one more point under a 3rd judge, to complete the task!  So proud of him and so grateful to Ayella for her enthusiastic help!
